The GLOW 45° LONG FOCUS REFLECTOR has a projected beam angle of 45 degrees rather than the typical standard Bowens 55° reflector throw. The extreme extended shape projects light rather that spreads the light, creating a more directed and even beam with a distinct fall-off. The bowl design throws light over longer distance by concentrating the flash into a very tight and even shaft of light, enhancing your flash Guide Number. Shadows become longer and dramatic. The concentration of the output ray has an emphasis on the center of the subject in the light path. The inner rim is recessed to accept 11″ honeycomb grids for even more directional control.
